Ich möchte dich herzlich zu einem Event einladen, das mir besonders am Herzen liegt: "Marlene Bart X Daniel Benyamin: Theatrum Radix".
Dabei handelt es sich um ein audiovisuelles Live-Konzert, bei dem erweiterte Realität auf Musik trifft.
Am 07. August 2023 um 20:00 Uhr findet dieses einzigartige Erlebnis im Zeiss Großraum-Planetarium statt, das sich in der Prenzlauer Allee 80, 10405 Berlin befindet.
Dort erwartet dich eine spannungsvolle Verbindung von Kunst und Natur.In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, der Mediasphere for Nature, dem Tieranatomischen Theaterund dem Virtual Reality Unternehmen Ikonospace habe ich ein immersives Projekt geschaffen.
"Theatrum Radix" formuliert eine anthropozentrische Kritik und ermöglicht es den Besucher:innen, in eine Erzählung einzutauchen, die die Natur als dynamisches Netz darstellt.
"Theatrum Radix" war zuvor als Ausstellung im Tieranatomischen Theater zu sehen und wird nun als Kuppelprojektion im Zeiss Großraum-Planetarium präsentiert. Der Komponist Daniel Benyamin hat einen Soundtrack kreiert, der die fantastische und surreale Naturerfahrung in sieben Kapiteln untermalt. Als besonderes Highlight des Abends wird Daniel Benyamin ein exklusives Live-Konzert im Zeiss-Großplanetarium geben. Dabei verschmelzen seine neuesten Songs spielerisch mit dem Soundtrack von "Theatrum Radix". Dich erwartet eine spannende Mischung aus sinfonischem Pop und minimalistischen Geräusch-Kompositionen.Nach der Vorführung hast du die Möglichkeit, Fragen an Daniel Benyamin und mich im Rahmen einer Q&A-Session zu stellen.
Die faszinierende Verschmelzung von Virtual Reality und Musik eröffnet ein neues Kapitel der Sinneserfahrung. In der Kuppel des Planetariums wird dieses Erlebnis besonders beeindruckend, da es zu einer kollektiven Erfahrung wird. Hier kannst du visuell und akustisch in eine neue Realität eintauchen. Durch die Verbindung von erweiterter Reality mit der Kraft der Musik entsteht ein synästhetisches Erlebnis, bei dem du die Musik nicht nur hörst, sondern auch siehst und spürst.

It is a live audiovisual concert and performance where extended reality meets music in a truly unique setting.
This experience will take place on August 7, 2023, at 8:00 PM in theZeiss Großraum-Planetarium , located at Prenzlauer Allee 80, 10405 Berlin. You can expect an exciting fusion of art and nature. In collaboration with the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, Mediasphere for Nature, Tieranatomisches Theater , and virtual reality company Ikonospace, I have crafted a new and immersive journey into my VR work, leveraging the Planetarium´s incredible 360° projection hardware.
Theatrum Radix" presents an anthropocentric critique, allowing visitors to delve into a story that portrays nature as a dynamic network.
"Theatrum Radix" was previously showcased as an exhibition in the Tieranatomisches Theater and will now be presented as a dome projection in the Zeiss Grossraum-Planetarium. Composer Daniel Benyamin has fashioned a soundtrack that underscores this fantastical and surreal alternative natural history experience in seven chapters. As a further special highlight of the evening, Daniel Benyamin will perform an exclusive live concert at the Zeiss Grossraum-Planetarium. His latest songs will seamlessly blend with the "Theatrum Radix" soundtrack, offering an intriguing mix of symphonic pop and minimalist sound compositions.
Following the screening, there will also be the opportunity to ask questions to Daniel Benyamin and myself in a moderated Q&A session.
It is my hope that our fusion of extended reality and music can pave the way towards new paradigms in the sensory experince of natural history collections. The dome of the planetarium takes this concept one step further, transforming the personal experince of Theatrum Radix in VR into a new, collective journey. Here, the audience can visually and acoustically immerse themselves in a new ladscape, not only seeing but hearing and feeling the flow of the virtual world.
Join us on August 7 as we dive together into a world of artistic and natural order images that merge into an immersive narrative. This evening represents the next step in the evolution of my combination of visual and acoustic elements in a naturalistic-encyclopedic science theater experience, which I hope will be truly unforgettable.The event will take place in the planetarium hall of the Zeiss Grossraum-Planetarium and will be presented in German.
